Golf Star

I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas but am now proud to call Winston-Salem home. My love for golf at an early age propelled me to a successful junior golf career, which included All American status in both golf and academics. I attended Wake Forest University in 1992 and was a member of the Wake Forest Women’s Golf team from 1992-1996. My team was the first WF women’s golf team to qualify for the NCAA women’s tournament. We went on to two ACC Championships and two East Regional Championships, then finished third in the 1996 NCAA Tournament. I graduated from Wake Forest in 1996 with a BS in business and several championship rings.

Experienced Realtor

After a stint as a caddy on the world stage, I returned to Winston-Salem in 1997 and took a sales role with ISP Sports, then became the sales and marketing director at Salem Glen Country Club, which was adding residential villages. This prompted my transition into real estate sales; I received my NC license in 1999.

The early years of my real estate career included mainly new construction. I worked with developers to open new neighborhoods, and worked with builders and buyers to custom design floor plans to fit their specific needs. I designed and built a home in Salem Glen, where I lived for 13 years before moving to a 1938 traditional home in Buena Vista with my children, Brady and Harper Kate, and our long-haired dachshund, Riley. The home maintenance is non-stop, of course, but we recently added two outdoor spaces — a basketball court and a covered patio with a fireplace, both of which were well used during COVID-19.

Winston-Salem Advocate

Although I did not grow up here, seeing the growth of Winston-Salem over the last 25 years has been remarkable. From the hospitals to innovation quarter, the growth in the financial sector and biotech industry is leading us into the next decade. I can’t wait to see where Winston-Salem goes from here!

If you are considering relocating to Winston-Salem, I would love to give you a tour and share what I love most about my chosen home, the City of Arts & Innovation. My success as Berkshire Hathaway’s top local agent is undoubtedly due to my love for job and the true joy I find in introducing new clients to Winston-Salem and helping them find a home here.

If you’ve already discovered the magic of Winton and are looking to make a local move here, let’s meet in the Coal Pit for some pizza — or over a pastry at Lavender & Honey and talk about how I can help.
